For the Editorial Board
The Editorial Board evaluates manuscripts solely based on their scientific content, without any discrimination towards the author or the research subject.
The Editorial Board uses manuscripts only for the purposes of review and publication, ensuring their confidentiality.
For Authors
The article submitted to the Editorial Board must be unpublished and original. Therefore, the manuscript must not have been published elsewhere, nor be under review by other journals. An exception is made for articles translated from foreign languages, with the original publisher’s consent: in this case, the original article will be published alongside the translation.
Only those who have actively contributed to the creation of the manuscript should be indicated as co-authors; the material should then be approved by all authors before submission.
The first author is responsible for the content of the article.
It is the responsibility of the authors to obtain permission to reproduce copyrighted material.
The manuscript is anonymously reviewed by independent reviewers concerning its adherence to scientific criteria and the journal’s editorial standards. If the manuscript contains clinical material, it must respect the anonymity and confidentiality of the subjects involved. It is also necessary to refer to the use of informed consent, obtained previously from the participants.
At the time of submission, authors must declare any conflicts of interest related to the content of the work; any funding or sponsoring organizations of the project must also be declared.
For Reviewers
Reviewers ensure the confidentiality of manuscripts, the content of which is only viewed by people authorized by the Editorial Board. The review must be conducted clearly and scientifically, providing all useful references to the author.
Reviewers who receive an article with which they believe they may have potential conflicts of interest (e.g., competitive or collaborative relationships, connections with authors or institutions related to the manuscript’s subject) are required to report it to the Editorial Board.
